"In response to Renee Heus' recent review, I would like to clear a few things up. Firstly, the publican refused service to clearly intoxicated persons, as is the law. At 11:50am. Secondly, these intoxicated persons then turned up once again, arguably, more intoxicated, 7 and a half hours later the same day. Once again, they were lawfully refused service. Thirdly, it was they who returned and assaulted the publican, who never left the premises. If you'd like further clarity Renee, please feel free to check out the actual footage/evidence."

I was actually there and witnessed firsthand the verbal and threatening abuse by these “out of towners” for refusing service to the visibly inebriated “friends” for the second time that day. "Response to Renee Hues Hi Renee, I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but if its not the truth and it’s important to clarify that you were not present during the incident you’ve commented on. Sharing misinformation about a serious situation is both unfair and disrespectful to those who were directly affected. Our publican was physically assaulted that night, a shocking event for our small community. The people who gathered did so out of care, concern, and solidarity, not hostility. I am incredibly proud of the way our community came together to protect and support one another in a very distressing moment. Much like when John and Janet faced a ram-raid, our locals came together to support one another. Before making public statements, I encourage you to seek first-hand facts rather than repeating hearsay. Patrons on the night were injured and have photos of these injuries."
